SAACB, NCA ‘Sharaka’ Cooperation Continued

SAACB, represented by Counselor Eyad Tayyem and infrastructure audit manager Esmat Abu Rabea, has been to Netherlands Court of Audit meeting in the Hague alongside 6 Arab SAI heads, where they discussed how their cooperation in the Sharaka program can be deepened in the years ahead, as per achievements of previous stages, which were about preparations their government had made to implement the SDGs

The participants agreed to carry on with cooperation and extend the Sharaka program for another two years to implement a consolidated methodology, which will be agreed during the next few weeks, to carry out performance audits on certain health themes, and link audits to SDGs, the government plan and its achievements in this regard.

The SAI presidents used this visit to hold talks about program coordination and their support of bilateral cooperation projects with Arab SAIs. Talks have been also held with the Dutch Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation, Sigrid Kaag, and with members of two committees of the House of Representatives to discuss ways to strengthen the relationship between audit institutions and parliament.
